My Story
I’ve photographed plenty of big weddings over the last 10 years. It’s actually where I first fell in love with photography. But after shooting so many, I realized they often carry more stress than joy. Jam-packed timelines. Obligation invites. Pinterest-perfect expectations that squeeze couples into a mold that they never quite fits.
I had the big wedding because it was “what you’re supposed to do" and I gave into pressures of family. There were about ten people who I truly wanted there. I spent way more than I planned. And the day I’d dreamed of didn’t feel like mine at all.
Now, I get to stand in your corner and remind you that choosing an elopement isn’t selfish or weird or “less than.” It’s brave. It’s intentional. It’s freedom. You absolutely can have a wedding day that feels like you from top to bottom without the pressure, the obligations, or the box everyone else tries to tuck you into.
And I’ll be right there cheering you on. Heck yes you can do this your way. Let’s freaking go!!!!!
