FIRST OFF I'M THE TEXTBOOK DEFINITION OF AN EXTROVERT! I GET MY ENERGY FROM GOOD PEOPLE AND AMAZING EXPERIENCES. (HENCE MY DREaM JOB BEING THAT I GET TO lOVE ON AMAZING PEOPLE IN INSANELY BEAUTIFUL PLACES!)
I’VE ALWAYS BEEN ADDICTED TO STORIES.
WHAT DO I MEAN BY THAT?
WHEN I WAS LITTLE, ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS WAS CAR RIDES WITH JUST ME AND MY DAD. HE WOULD TELL ME ALL THE STORIES OF HIM GROWING UP, HIM MEETING MY MOM, ETC. AND I COULDN’T GET ENOUGH OF IT!
AS MOVIES GO, I REALLY DON’T HAVE A PREFERENCE ON WHAT GENRE AS MUCH AS HOW GOOD THE STORY IS. IF IT HAS A GOOD STORY I’M ALL IN!
AS I’VE GOTTEN OLDER ALL I WANT NOW IS JUST TO BE APART OF STORIES, WHETHER IT’S MINE OR SOMEONE ELSE’S. STORIES ARE A CONNECTION POINT WHEN MEETING PEOPLE, WHEN HANGING WITH FRIENDS AND WHEN LOOKING BACK ON MEMORIES. AS PEOPLE OUR LIVES ARE LITERALLY JUST STORIES COMPLIED BIG AND SMALL INTO ONE BIG LIFE.
AND I THINK THAT’S WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT THIS JOB. I GET TO BE APART OF PEOPLES STORIES IN SUCH AN INTIMATE WAY AND IN TURN GET TO TELL THEIR STORIES TO OTHERS THROUGH PHOTOS.

I crave Stories and Genuine Connection
I know it is cliche but I love music. If i'm ever alone for even 5 minutes I have the car radio or earbuds cranked up.
Why did i want to be a photographer?
The book series "A Court of Thorns and Roses" and "Fourth Wing" my roman empire and i'm forever obsessed with all things, Dragons, Fae and Fantasy!
I'm a huge movie buff and cry very frequently at them, happy or sad! Some of my favorites are Dune, anything star wars, about time and The secret life of Walter Mitty.
Aaron (My Husband) and I got married on October 11th 2019 and have been together for over 7 years! the Westley to my buttercup, the Harry to my Sally and The Jake Sully to my Netiri. He is the only person that can make me annoyed and love him all at the same time!
When I was 11, my grandpa found and old 35mm camera and gave it to me. I instantly fell in love with light and color and quickly came to love telling stories through photos.
Right then I knew I wanted to be a wedding photographer.
Senior year of high school comes around and I did the typical senior thing and went and toured some colleges, but none of them felt right or had exactly what I wanted to pursue. So despite what teachers and bosses had to say, I dove head first into photography as soon I graduated!
I started out doing senior pictures, family pictures and weddings.
But as my business grew, by God's grace, I found my niche.
Photographing love stories . Yeah, yeah, I'm a hopeless romantic!
And here we are, 6 years later and I'm doing my dream job for my amazing clients turned best friends!
So how does this relate to wedding photography?
Well, I'll tell you now that I am not the photographer for everyone, and thats OKAY! I feel the most confident and creative with the people who love and trust me as much as i love and trust them.
I WANT US TO BE MORE THAN JUST CLIENTS AND VENDORS, I WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND ON YOUR WEDDING DAY!
AND THAT IS WHEN MY CREATIVITY TRULY THRIVES, IS WHEN I'M PHOTOGRAPHING FRIENDS!
AND IN TURN THAT IS WHY I THINK MY COUPLES ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE WITH ME SO MUCH, BECAUSE WE ARE FRIENDS! SO MY HOPE IS THAT SOME OF THE ABOVE RESONATES IN WITH YOU AND THAT YOU "CLICK" WITH ME AS MUCH AS I "CLICK" WITH YOU GUYS!
